Prior to the formation of Bridging Smiles Ontario, few organizations have dedicated themselves to what we stand for. BSO formed in 2025 as a mission to bridge the population of York University to peoples of Ontario.The bridge we've created is for anyone to walk on, its maintained by our clubs values rooted in equity and dignity. Our members and founders believe that access and care to resources are not a privilege but a right and our mission statement reflects thatWhile BSO has formally just been established - the idea has been in progress since 2023 where the founders reached out to underrepresented groups in Ontario and tried to understand the scope at which lack of access exists, starting from the foundational level where real people and real issues came to light.BSO has finally been formally established and invites students and staff on our mission.
